Adding project reunion info to readme #2641
Conversation
The Project Reunion Core team suggested that we include Project Reunion information in the WinUI readme and provided the blurb above.
Should we add info that the Project Reunion repo is the place to ask UWP app model related questions? We have seen quite a few issues of this nature being opened here in this repo since it went open-source and I don't yet have the feeling that the Project Reunion Github repo is known by many devs as the place to go to for these types of questions instead of this repo because of "lack of alternatives". |
Maybe this is something to point out in the WinUI readme AND the GitHub issue templates? After all, if you find a bug, a lot of people won't read the complete readme before submitting an issue, but rather jump directly to the issues tab. |
Adding this info into the Github issue template as well sounds reasonable to me. |
@Felix-Dev @chingucoding Yes, definitely a good addition for the readme to say that UWP app model questions should be asked in the Project Reunion repo. Ill add that now! Not sure if it warrants a change in the issue template, paging @ranjeshj who is probably in charge of that. |
I think adding something low impact to the issue template makes sense. |
