  • Also try a readonly editor.
  • Using the mouse: Similar to Shift+mouse drag, but use Shift+Alt+mouse drag to "draw" a rectangle.
  • Using the keyboard: Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Alt+arrow keys to "draw" a rectangle.
  • You basically get multicursors at the intersection of the rectangle and the text.
