Continuing from #2309 this continues to expand support for metadata generation (#1093) and adds the
riddle
command line tool that will eventually replace bothMIDLRT
andMDMERGE
with an all-Rust alternative. This should make it a lot simpler to build WinRT and Win32 components in Rust without requiring any Windows SDK dependencies. It's early days but we can now write a component's inteface definition in a Rust-like syntax and runriddle
