Hacking ease.js
===============
Contributions to the project are more than welcome. Please be sure to keep the
following in mind when hacking ease.js. This is not yet a complete list; the
project is still under development. Please watch this file for changes.
Coding Standards
----------------
The project does not currently have a strict set of coding standards. This will
evolve in the future and will be loosely enforced (to maintain flexibility) by
static analysis tools. In the meantime, please use your best judgment. The code
has a certain "feel" to it. Try to follow this feel when submitting your own
patches or making modifications to ensure consistency.
Unit Testing
------------
ease.js follows a test-driven development model. No untested code will be
accepted. Ensure you have complete code coverage, preferably by developing the
tests before you develop the actual software. Ensure your tests fail before
implementing the feature in order to point out potentially flawed test designs.
When refactoring or expanding upon existing tests, be careful to preserve the
original intent. Prove that the new test(s) will provide the same coverage for
the same feature set. In order to ensure the tests themselves were not broken,
and to ensure that you understand the test case, cause the tests to fail.
Under no circumstances should a test be completely removed without being
replaced unless the feature was entirely removed.
Submitting Patches
------------------
You may send pull requests via your preferred method or e-mail patches to the
author. The e-mail address may be found in the commits.
