Nyancats become very common below y = 0, a problem in unusual mapgens which have a lot of open space down to world base.

If we do this, we have to be able to add some way by default to add a starting node into the world. (Maybe a /setblock command? It would be useful with mesecons.) If we can't have all of worldedit (which is very likely) then we need another way to add in a node.
