Robobo and ROS

Robobo can be used in ROS1 and ROS2.

  • ROS 1 programming: Robobo is compatible with ROS1 (Robot Operating System) so that it can be programmed as a remote ROS node. This is the recommended way for university students and researchers in robotics.

  • ROS 2 programming: : Robobo is compatible with ROS 2, the new version of ROS (Robot Operating System) that is under development. This is the recommended way for university students and researchers in robotics interested in migrating from ROS to ROS2.
