This release of the model catalog assigns SVOs identifiers to local URIs (of type https://w3id.org/okn/o/sd#StandardVariable).
Thanks to this change, the local API will have less trouble distinguishing ids. In addition, when a new SVO is created, we don't need to have a mechanism dependent on SVO.

All ids that correspond to an SVO are preserved with an owl:sameAs. Some of the descriptions from existing SVOs are also imported for consistency

This release uses version 1.8.0 of the Software description ontology and version 1.7.0 of the software description ontology for models. Below are the most relevant changes. The migration has occurred only for the mint graph so far:

  • Fixed errors in data and cleaned up some incorrect instances.
  • used hasBuildFile to point to the docker file of a few model configurations
  • used data transformation link (isTransformedFrom property) (one example done)
  • added parameters that are catalog ids as such.
  • Tagged all setups that have executions as non-editable
  • Added model categories as instances of class
  • Added new type of model: CoupledModel .

This version of the model catalog includes:

  • New changes for indicators and indices (better descriptions)
  • Polished data descriptions for models
  • New model export to freeze catalog contents
  • Improved uploading process when new changes to the ontology are required.

This version of the model catalog incorporates export scripts to extract all the triples, inspect them and update them with changes if necessary. It also fixes some labels in TopoFlow, and adds processes to the model.

This version of the model catalog defines better indices. Now indices have a label, description and a pointer to the SVO that corresponds (if available)

This version of he model catalog introduces small changes in the ontology:

  • Country now is partOf (so regions can be part of regions).
  • New property for tagging releases.
  • New property for defining increments (useful for ensembles)
  • Fix #34 and #35

This release of the model catalog includes:

  • New setups for several regions for TopoFlow, HAND, PIHM.
  • Models now include a postprocessing step that will create visualizations and images.
  • Removed old deprecated versions of some models (kept the old PIHM version for now)

This release of the model catalog includes:

  • Descriptions for the hydrology, economic, agricultural and climate models included in MINT, including their metadata and variables.
  • Link of all variables to SVO. Variables defined in SVO are brought in with their context (i.e., objects and properties they describe).
  • Semantic description of units. Each unit is describes according to the NASA QUDT standard.
  • Links to Wikidata. Variables and units are linked to Wikidata for additional descriptions and as a point of reference
  • Initial work towards transforming the layout of files as data cubes.
