No description provided.

This winter, 33 people from around the world gathered in Marrakesh for a Mirage hack retreat. This is fast becoming a [MirageOS](/blog/2016-spring-hackathon) [tradition](/blog/2017-march-hackathon-roundup), and we're a little sad that it's over already! We've collected some trip reports from those who attended the 2017 winter hack retreat, and we'd like to thank our amazing hosts, organisers and everyone who took the time to write up their experiences.

We, the MirageOS community, strongly beliefs in using their own software: this website is a unikernel since day one^W^W it is possible to run MirageOS unikernels. In Marrakesh we used our own DHCP and DNS server without trouble. There are many more services under heavy development (including git, ssh, ...), which we're looking forward to use soon ourselves.

Some agreement nitpicking: "We, the MirageOS community, strongly believe in using our own software: this website has been a unikernel since day one ^W^W it has been possible to run MirageOS unikernels." and ", which we're looking forward to using soon ourselves".

improving and updating the ocaml-scrypt library, used by another fellow mirage
user in order to develop its own password manager.
Ultimately, I'm not sure either direction I took was good: a streaming Json library is
perhaps not the best choice for an application that shares few jsons (samhot

dear @mirage/core and @mirage/devs I'll be off to 34c3 until end of the year. I just pushed another commit linking to http://retreat.mirage.io (which does not have a DNS entry yet (ip: http://198.167.222.204) //cc @avsm) (on that i link back to this article.

would anyone of you please be kind enough to read over this again, and hit the merge button (once you're comfortable, best would be after @avsm sets up the DNS entry).

i wish you all very nice holidays, and looking forward for 2018, the year where MirageOS hits Desktops and the cloud ;p (self-advertisement for my 2018, not yet really public (pls not share on social media yet): http://robur.io -- feedback welcome)

<3 and happy hacking!

Made some minor edits (typos, broken links). @yomimono: This link https://somerandomidiot.com/post/2017-10-09-nat-your-own-packets/ sends me to "Not found" and I can't figure out where it should point to.

Ready to click the big green button Real Soon Now, DNS entry is visible over here.

@avsm I've merged this after all builds passed, but don't see any further Travis activity, or a commit in mirage/mirage-www-deployment, nor an updated website. Any idea what's going on?

Update: There is now a matching commit in mirage-www-deployment, but the website is not responding.
