Python application development environment based on pyenv
This docker image is quite large (> 1GB), please pull with caution.
When launch docker image, it automatically login, launch byobu and activating pyenv
$ docker exec -it -u py miurahr/pyvenv
Please see command details at Pyenv Commands
- /home/py/ - working user
- /home/py/.pyenv/ - pyenv files
Guest user 'pyuser' has sudo privilege and you can easily add more packages.
It has following python versions:
- Python 3.4.3
- Python 2.7.9
- PyPy 2.5.0
- PyPy3 2.4.0
You can switch python version with pyenv command
$ docker build -t pyvenv-dev .
