I have read this feature request somewhere but now I cannot find it, so here is a new on:

Currently the loop starts at the beginning of the loop. Wen pressing the Beatloop one "1", one beat is played as usual and than it jumps to the position where the Beatloop button was pressed.

It could be useful, if the track jumps back instantly when pressing the beatloop button.

We currently have such a behavior with quantization On, and the beatloop butten is pressed just before a beat.

They call it backloops (Loop-Back mode) in VDJ where you
a) set the loop end point
b) instantly jump back by x beats
c) start looping

Helpful if you do not want to loop what you are going to hear, but what you have heard.

We still can't do this.

Ideas (alternatives):

  • this become a right click action for the beatloop button. The left beatloop button can become a power window button.
  • hold the beatloop button -> enters a forward loop. Press the loop-out button -> move the loop back as a beatloop button ending at the out press point.

What do you think?
