Encoder Connected Indication #9082
Comments
Commented by: daschuer This is already solved somehow, because the ON_AIR indicator has a warning state, which is enabled when not all configured connections are working. |
Commented by: ronack01 Don't see it! |
Commented by: daschuer Which Skin do you use? It is the yellow On Air sign in Shade. |
Commented by: ronack01 Not a fan of Shade, I'm looking at Late Night but prefer Dark Metal. But I know Dark Metal isn't designed for 2.1 yet. But of the ones coming with 2.1, Latenight is my preference. |

Got to thinking about this last night when I couldn't fall asleep.
We'll need an indication at a glance that each encoder is connected or not. Not just an On Air light because that just shows that you have enabled the encoders. When I click Enable Live Broadcast I don't have time to open up Preference then click Broadcast to see if the encoders show Connected.
I'm sure this would be part of a skin. So we need a Enable Button (On Air in Dark Metal) Then some indicators maybe in the status bar for each encoder. I think most will only use one encoder, right now we use two but had as many as three.
