#1 -- OMG! I agree with Grassley on something!

#3 -- I and some online editor buddies doubt that 45 was capable of spelling "attorney-client privilege" with an en dash -- like is he a closet follower of APA style? One friend noticed that the Wikipedia entry uses an en dash and speculates that 45 cut-and-pasted from it. Others don't believe 45 is capable of cut-and-pasting.

#4 -- The source is ambiguous (a lot hangs on the lack of a comma after "Giuliani"), but inserting a comma after Giuliani makes the issue Giuliani's donation to the Trump campaign. This is possible, but I read the source as saying that it was Berman who donated to the campaign. OTOH I'm not sure what Giuliani has to do with it. Maybe there's corroboration somewhere else? If it WAS Berman, I'd edit it thus: "Geoffrey Berman, a Trump appointee with ties to Rudy Giuliani, donated money to the 2016 Trump campaign."

#5 -- This is what the NYT story says -- it was a conference in Kiev, not a campaign appearance, though it may have been during the campaign. (The Ukrainian dude wouldn't have had to pay Trump to speak during his own campaign.)
