Minor Issues in Row Reordering Sample... #306

Two Small issues.. (well one might be considered a dom leak).


In the current example9-row-reordering.html

  1. Drag and row to reorder...
  2. Look at the -> grid-canvas dom element -> notice empty div 's elements in there.
  3. the more elements you move the more div 's end up in there. So this code be symptom of a larger issue?

Might want to look into this but one cheap fix is to add this code:

$('#myGrid .grid-canvas > div:empty').filter(function (index) { 
    return $(this).children().length < 1; 

B) In the current example9-row-reordering.html

  1. Drag a row to the cycle bin..
  2. Release it at the moment the proxy element touches it.. Since this object is very long this could be confusing.

You can fix this by using the option from the dnd plug. To force it to use the mode of mouse is really over it...

     bind("dropstart", function (e, dd) {
 $.drop({ mode:true });
