Release It #41
+1
I wrote a blog post a while ago called "Which sections of Release It! help to make software operable?" - might be useful:

:)
Kinda torn on this one. This is good entry-level resource on the idea of
designing with failure and mind and the practical implications for software
delivery. But many of the technical examples and details are getting pretty
out of date. I'm going to add this book to the list for now as I think there
are pieces that are really valuable, but I'd love to find a more recent take
on these ideas at some point.
@mmcgrana we're going to tackle Release It! in the ReadOps book club next month; hopefully someone will pop up with more current recommendations.
@bscofield o neat! I keep hearing about ReadOps - I'll have to check it out (:
Feel free! We're at http://readops.com/ -- I expect discussion to pick up as people finish ISoC over the back half of the month.
Could be a good survey / practical resource on operable apps.
I think I've read this but it was a while ago, so I need to review.
