For those of us trying to use Docker on other architectures (like ARM), it would be excellent if Docker could be built with nothing more than a working Go setup - i.e., without a previous version of it, and without trying to pull anything from the Internet.

(This becomes even more aggravating when you manage to use a legacy Docker binary and the build process then tries to download a x64 binary image from the Docker hub...)
