MicroJoy

MicroJoy logo

MicroJoy is the perfect companion for your beloved Sparkfun MicroView! It provides a simple, sleek way to add a joystick, buttons, and sound to your MicroView projects. And the best part is, thanks to through-board sockets, the MicroView is easily removable, so you can still use it for other DIY mischief.

MicroJoy has all unused MicroView pins broken out. Use the I2C pins to incorporate your favorite sensor, or use the FTDI pins to program the MicroView with a 5V FTDI Basic Breakout or 5V FTDI Cable (the design includes 0.1uF capacitor for the DTR pin). Because the MicroView is removable, programming can also be done easily via a MicroView USB Programmer.
