The following patches are required to compile gnome-sharp on FreeBSD and are of generic application.

DragonSA added some commits Jan 4, 2018

configure: use the system compiler 'cc' instead of 'gcc'
Not all OSes come with GCC installed, thus use the more generic command
'cc' for the C compiler.
Makefile: remove dll reference from MONO_PATH.
With mono-5, referencing a dll in MONO_PATH is no longer supported.
Instead, just reference the directory containing the dll.
