Please describe the bug.

when reading a stored scene from USB stick negative pattern values get converted to a different positive value.

Please include the hash displayed at startup and the release of the software (e.g. "Teletype v2.0.1 5f838c9")

can repro with both the latest 3.+ build and 2.0 release.

What steps are required to reproduce the bug?

  1. input some negative values into pattern
  2. save scene to USB
  3. read scene from USB
