I'm using the mpd frontend to communicate with mopidy but I've found a fundamental difference between the way mopidy responds to a command when compared with mpd. The command is listallinfo

When used with no arguments in mpd, this returns a complete list of every track, with all its tags, that is currently in the tag cache.

When used this way with mopidy I get ACK [2@0] {listallinfo} incorrect arguments.

I used mopidy-scan to create the tag cache, I'm not sure if this is relevant.

Should be simple enough to fix for the localfiles backend at least, I'll try and around to it sometime this week. For the spotify backend we might just need to fallback to listing everything you have in a playlist.

Yeah sorry I should have said I'm using the localfiles backend - this is how my client gets the list of available files. It's difficult to see how it translates to spotify, you don't really want to list everything on spotify :)
