Girls Who Code - LUC

Girls Who Code - LUC is a webapp that has been developed for COMP 324 (Client-Side Web Development) at Loyola University Chicago. This app was created for Loyola's chapter of GWC. This app has multiple features that are useful for our chapter. Features are as follows:

  • Communication with directors, mentors, and students
  • The ability to see your current location relative to Loyola University Chicago's campus
  • View resources (slide decks, documents, etc.) that have been either presented at chapter meetings or are available for additional resources
  • Stay up-to-date with local club announcements and meetings

Prerequisites

To run this application, you'll need to do the following:

  1. Install node.js
  2. Install express
  3. Clone this repository:
$ git clone https://github.com/morganrmarie/loyola-girls-who-code
$ cd loyola-girls-who-code

Usage

Running the following command will allow you to access the webapp on port 3000

$ nodemon app

In your browser, go to localhost:3000 to view the webapp running on your local host.
