Seems to only effect certain versions and flavors on Linux.

Could this be caused by the compiler optimization? If the user is not using an intel chip, then possibly?? Easy thing to rule out. Try Mothur.cen_64.noOpt.zip ~1.36.1.

We have solved this with Mothur.linux_64.zip. Thanks for your patience.

mtune=native optimized for Intel chip set. mtune=generic allows for any chip set.
