This package is supposed to speed up installing composer dependencies by parallelizing requests.
https://github.com/hirak/prestissimo

I tried locally and it works:

composer install --no-progress --profile --prefer-dist
Before:
Memory usage: 117.21MB (peak: 257.24MB), time: 114.52s
After:
Memory usage: 117.55MB (peak: 248.51MB), time: 45.45s

I don't think it's worth adding as a dependency for the project as we don't install all of our dependencies all the time, but we do every time we run a Travis build so maybe we could get a speed up in Travis if we add it to our configuration file.
