2018 Q3 OKRs (97 O-Average)

Q3 lines up directly with Firefox 63, so the spirit of this quarter is to land significant functionality around AS Router (CFR, Onboarding Tour, Snippets), Mozilla build system improvements, and to make key critical improvements to Activity Stream on the Firefox newtab page.

2018 Q2 OKRs (83 O-Average)

The theme of this quarter is to start landing significant AS Router infrastructure/experiments, to push further with AS personalization/customization, to make progress moving our processes and tooling closer to Firefox dev. env. norms, and to make better decisions by better leveraging and communicating about product data, experimentation, user testing and dashboard development.

Note that Compact Highlights and Bugzy were added to as a feature this quarter, but were untracked in our OKRs.

2018 Q1 OKRs (75 O-Average)

The theme of this quarter is ongoing Newtab improvements that add better customization, preferences and more datatypes for highlights.

We are continuing our work on perceived performance and will be producing A/B timing videos on a regular basis for the most impactful use cases. This will allow us to reason about and take action on regressions and easily identify areas for improvement.

Additionally we will be generalizing the messaging and notification mechanism behind Snippets and Onboarding Tour functionality.

2017 Q4 OKRs (30 O-Average)

The focus for Q4 will be on triaging the heck out of the 57 beta and making sure we have a smooth release for Firefox Quantum. For 58, we are completely focused on performance and perceived performance improvements for Activity Stream.

2017 Q3 OKRs (74 O-Average)

The focus of this quarter is to land a provably amazing Activity Stream experience on about:home and about:newtab. In addition we will start on experiments and prototypes for next generation Activity Stream features.

We will continue to build out and productize our telemetry, analytics and experimentation products and services.
