One of the sprites in this SWF has 7000+ frames and takes forever to load:
We already do progressive frame loading, but for the main timeline only. Not a trivial task to do that for all sub timelines. Too many circumstances to deal with (e.g. script jumps to ranges behind the loaded content). Preloaders are usually watching the main timeline, that's why they already work in most cases.
Although this has 7000+ frames, it shouldn't take 24 seconds, something else must be busted.
Addressed with #288.
Is this fixed? Can we close it?
The way we constructed the command lists for every frame (using Object.create) was too slow for very large sprites. Changed and fixed in #288.
