This is a second try at Bug 965965. In #1745, an alternative was proposed which was to create a new separate API endpoint that would solely be responsible for tracking app detail page views. This pull request is an attempt at that.

This relates to: mozilla/fireplace#368

Kinda surprised that we are making a table to store stats inside zamboni when we've just gone to a lot of work to split stats out of zamboni and into monolith. Presumably this data goes somewhere else, would just a log file work?

I agree that this should probably go into mozilla/monolith

Based on lack activity on feedback that this isn't the way to go, I'm going to close this. I think we should hammer out a plan in bugzilla for spending time on coding up a solution. Thanks for the work on this already @nearlyfreeapps
