My project involved using Backbone.js to create a single page web app that stored data about a group of glass. Ideally, it was supposed to have a home page with different categories of antique glass manufactured in the U.S. that then linked to gallery pages showing examples of pieces in that given category from my personal glass collection, but I was not able to figure out how to implement this. Instead, the site features a few images that change background color when hovered over, and when clicked on, lead to a change in the url based on the model instance's id number.
The resources I used were the book, "Developing Backbone.js Applications" by Addy Osmani, online tutorials at lynda.com, codeschool.com, and a Dev BootCamp Dev Talk from 2014. I also used a few websites: "Backbone, the Primer on Github," "Getting started with Backbone.js" (code.tutsplus.com), and the official documentation (backbonejs.org).
Anyone can contribute to this project, as it obviously is not what I intended it to look like. Simply clone the repo and run the index.html file.
