video works but very slowly and gitter, play one second video during 1.5~2 seconds.

why are you reporting it here again #6364? i thought we established it's an ffmpeg problem.

on a side note --hwdec=videotoolbox-copy doesn't work, see #6384. mpv --hwdec=help will only list --hwdec=videotoolbox-co.

But VLC's hardware decoder works fine, is it not using the FFMpeg's decoder, isn't it?

VLC is not using FFMpegs Videotoolbox code.
