I tried using the @message annotation with an enum but ended up with a crazy runtime error. Is there a built in mechanism for working with them?

Hi, we are working on msgpack-java v07 mainly. And v07 doesn't support serialization by annotations yet currently.

Hey @xerial and @komamitsu, what do you think about having these kind of annotation in v07? We've talked offline that it's good to have Jackson-like annotations. Is it time to go ahead with @alan-mee?

For msgpack-java v07, I think we can use annotations with https://github.com/komamitsu/jackson-dataformat-msgpack, which is compatible with jackson-databind.
