Please add this...I can't figure out a way to do this (can't figure out a bash script :( )

I'm working on creating a bash script that will do this.

Edit: A batch script. This project doesn't work on Unix! Ha ha ha!

Edit - The Remix: I said to myself, "Why not just make it an action in Belvedere itself?" So I did. This way there's no need for any batch files, and the action can reference the lovely 7za.exe that's built into Belvedere very easily. So if the pull request ever makes it back to Lifehacker, everyone can have the unzippy goodness.

Do u plan on adding this feature?

It's definitely a feature we want to have, but...

  • When I added this feature in that pull request (#49), I did so in a way that was inconsistent with the rest of Belvedere, so mshorts decided not to add it.
  • My only PC recently lost its ability to run Windows, so I doubt I'll be able to contribute much from now on. I don't know if I'll be able to do something as big as reimplementing this.
