Just wondering if it's possible for Fragaria to support mixed mode syntax highlighting (the most obvious case being HTML/CSS/JS).

Cheers,

Hi Jeff

At present, no.

It isn't a usage case that I would be interested in just at the minute so it is unlikely that I will try and implement mixed node behaviour in the near future.

However, it should be fairly straightforward to implement. Something like:

  1. Identify dependent syntaxes and declare delimiters. Persist this in the base syntax definition file.
  2. Scan range to be coloured and identify target ranges by syntax.
  3. Colour each target range according to its individual syntax.

Thanks Jonathan. If I start using Fragaria heavily, I'll certainly look into adding that feature.
