When you post an image in to the channel the scroll bar doesnt jump straight down to the post, it does work perfectly fine at times but after a while sometimes when you post and image and you are scrolled to the bottom it is as if i scroll up when i paste the image and i have to scroll down to see the image.

New in 1.2.6? Or an older bug?

This is not an issue I have but how do you get an image to load in the log window? Is there an option that needs to be enabled somewhere?

Actually, it's not really fixed, it's still in 1.2.7.

Can you jot down some steps on how to reproduce this on 1.2.7?

@sideh It should just work (unless the option in Network called "Disable image download" is checked). There's also an "allowhtml" setting for the server, which globally disabled the use of HTML (in messages, user comments and channel comments).

I still can't find how to always reproduce it. For now, it's completely random.
Sometimes, scroll bar will go up instead of going down, then it may always scroll up.
Other times, scroll bar will go down for me, and up for someone else.

@mkrautz Sorry to be a nuisance but I have enabled those settings as you have described. Disable image download is unchecked and allowhtml is enabled. When I past a link to a image in the chat box, it does not load the image? I am assuming have a stuffed up where I am putting the image or something. But not sure where.

Also thanks for your continuing support with mumble.

@sideh It seems like you are pasting only the link to an image, not inserting an actual image. There are a couple of ways to send an image in Mumble chat:

  1. Right-click on a user or channel and click Send Message.
    1. Paste a copied image from your clipboard into the "Display" tab, or

    2. Find an image file on your computer by clicking the "Insert image", or

    3. Link to an external image file by clicking the "Source Text" tab then inserting the following HTML:

      <img src="http://example.com/path/to/image.jpg" />

Yeah, that did it. My apologies, when I read it I assumed that it would be a simple cut and paste and then it would download. Bit of a long process but at least I know how to use it now 😄

We are also experiencing this bug in 1.2.7.
Also seems random in our case. :/

I am also seeing it. However, I don't know what's causing it yet.

The plan is to have a fix for this is 1.2.8.

I cannot reproduce this bug in master (1.3.0, Qt 5.3.2).
