No Longer Avaialable on NVIDIA Shield from the Playstore

I have been using this app on my NVIDIA shield for many years. I had to do a hard reset on my shield yesterday. When I tried to reinstall this app I found it was no longer avaialble for the NVIDIA Shield.

Unfortunately PhotoCloud is not available for Android TV at the moment. The reason is that, during the upload of the last version to Google Play, Google rejected the update because of some Android TV-related issue and posted a very vague Set of instructions to fix the issue. I was unable to figure out what is the issue to be fixed, and Google didn't bother to reply to any of my e-mails.

I was pressed by Google to push a new release , otherwise the app would be deactivated completely and removed from Google Play (because of not targeting the newest platform). So, ultimately , I decided to disable the support for Android TV for the moment, since the alternative would be to disable and remove PhotoCloud from Google Play completely.

I am very unhappy about the current state of things, but unfortunately I have no time to maintain PhotoCloud further, since the income from the app is minuscule. The best I can do is to try to keep PhotoCloud up to date to keep Google happy.

I have personally switched to Apple TV and I'm quite happy with the built-in Photo app and its level of privacy; I recommend you to do the same
