On freenode, the " x-************ " in gateway cloaks change when people disconnect/connect. So adding " gateway/web/irccloud.com/x-wafflecake " is futile as the person can easily reconnect to get a new one.
Adding " gateway/web/irccloud.com/.* " would block the person and anyone else that uses that gateway, but that's creates more problems than it solves.
If we could block " uid3688@gateway/web/irccloud.com/.* ", that would prevent that person from being able to use the bot, without having to worry about them reconnecting to change the " x-*********** " or blocking the entire gateway.
This should be possible, I'll have to dig around to see where the ident is being hidden. I'm pretty sure I had access to it once before.
@myano I exposed the ident in #137 as "full_ident"
@kaneda Perfect. I think the only thing that would be holding this up would be #107, as it would make sense to have this as its own table in that massive db.
