Would it be possible to allow us to 'tag' votes so that for example, if someone searched for 'bedroom tax', the vote on Social Tenants Deemed to Have Excess Bedrooms would show up? Similarly 'snoopers' charter'>Investigatory Powers Bill etc.

In respect of one of the examples given we do have the words "bedroom tax" in the sentence describing an MP's voting record:

Almost always voted for reducing housing benefit for social tenants deemed to have excess bedrooms (which Labour describe as the "bedroom tax")

A problem with language like "snoopers charger", "death tax", "dementia tax" is they're pejorative terms and using them alone could risk impartiality.

Related is the "Tabloid mode" idea at : #601

A potential other aspect to this ticket is the treatment of votes on search results pages. Should those searching for terms related to policies which TheyWorkForYou tracks be pointed in some way to the voting records?

I think you could get over the impartiality issue just with careful wording that disassociated ourselves, eg "Has been referred to in the media as...'.
