Evolved Code Browser

This plugin leverages exuberant-ctags to build a side panel class browser in the gedit text editor (GNOME default text editor).

Installation

Dependencies

  1. The plugin requires exuberant-ctags installed and executable from any path.

Plugin

  1. Download this repository using $ git clone git://github.com/nagaozen/gedit-plugin-classbrowser.git in your *nix terminal or by clicking at the Download button at top selecting the master branch.
  2. Copy codebrowser.gedit-plugin file and codebrowser folder into your ~/.gnome2/gedit/plugins/ folder.
  3. Open gedit and click Edit -> Preferences -> Plugins.
  4. Check the Evolved Code Browser and hit Close.
  5. That's it! The plugin should be working.
