Docs should explain how to get/store noty id's for use with $.noty.setText(id, text) from within subsequent javascript calls/scopes

For example, can a numerical ID be set during creation, and referenced later? Like:

.noty({text: 'my id is 14224!', id: 14224});

... and then later, in a separate function:

$.noty.setText(14224, 'test');

or can we do something like $.noty.setText($('.noty'), 'test');?

This is a lacking response to the OP's question. He is asking that the documentation be made to reflect how an id is SET, since it only makes reference to the id as a passed parameter.
