@h4k1m0u

I get this error with jquery v 1.10 I dont know how to resolve it?

@h4k1m0u

I fixed the issue by replacing jquery by $ on the last line of jquery.noty.js:
replace this:
// Helpers
window.noty = function noty(options) {
return jQuery.notyRenderer.init(options);
};

by this:
// Helpers
window.noty = function noty(options) {
return $.notyRenderer.init(options);
};

I'm having the same issue as well. It doesn’t seem to work for me even after replacing the snippet @h4k1m0u mentioned above. What am I missing?

@h4k1m0u

@shyam334 Im using jquery version 1.10.1. Try to update your version of jquery.
You should clear your browser cache too.

Thanks for reporting. I will check this issue asap.

@h4k1m0u

@needim This modification is needed for me inside a joomla project, when noty is called on the root body context, but not inside of an iframe (in iframe context).

A lot of times and so many releases, can you try with latest release? And if problem still exist can you create a new issue with jsfiddle example?

@elpollitodiablo

I have that exact same Issue. My head:

<!-- jQuery -->
<script src="/public/js/jquery/jquery.min.js"></script> <!-- jQuery v1.10.2 -->
<!-- Noty -->
<script src="/public/js/jquery/jquery.noty.packaged.min.js"></script>

My Call:

<script type="text/javascript">
    $(function(){
        $("#contact_form").on("submit", function(e){
            e.preventDefault();
            var n = noty({text: 'noty - a jquery notification library!'});
        });
    });
</script>

EDIT: replacing jQuery with a $ was no use

@villian

I have the same problem, it makes me crazy (

@villian

Bug still exists

@v2k-rongjun

Thanks for the reply

top.noty({...})

@nroe

if you use noty in $(function() { noty({...}) }); tag. you mush change the source code in $(function() { ... });

files: jquery.noty.js, themes/default.js, layouts/topRight.js(which you are use layout)
