can I convince you to use the non-gradient version? it looks a bit cleaner and is what I've already started to use around the place (e.g. github logo) ping me on IRC if you don't have a copy |

hrm. also, why is the resolution hardcoded? ideally we should probably provide an SVG version (since it isn't used often / not really performance-critical) and scale it to the screen inside lipstick-colorful-home ... and is the orientation going to be an issue? |

IMHO the most flexible solution would be one that doesn't use a fullscreen image but something that can be centered on the screen on any reasonably sized screen and rotated as necessary. That would mean a solid color background (any color) and a logo image that can be nicely placed in the middle. |
