Neo4j Community 1.9.M05 fails to install under CentOS 6.3 #594

service neo4j-service start
returns
su: user neo4jwrapper.user.created=false does not exist
...
It does not start. I think the solution is to repair the last line from the file conf/neo4j-wrapper.conf from
wrapper.user=neo4jwrapper.user.created=false
to
wrapper.user=neo4j
wrapper.user.created=false

I had the same issue and fixed it in exactly the same way.

This has been identified as a bug. The cause is a newline character missing at the end of the neo4j-wrapper.conf file of the community edition, and is not CentOS specific. It will be fixed in the next 1.9 release.
