This updates both the Linux kernel and the Raspberry Pi firmware to the latest version in the 5.4.y series. This kernel includes device tree files for the CM4 and the Raspberry Pi 400, so compile those and include them in the boot partition.
To be clear, this update hasn't fixed anything obvious for me yet. For example, USB doesn't work with the CM4 and this didn't fix it. It seemed logical to update these "just in case".
One last note, the Raspberry Pi upstream kernel started tagging Linux 5.10 releases in February so it looks like we'll need to trying out Linux 5.10 at some point.
