Agilio vRouter 19xx deployment guide [RHEL 7.6][RHOSP 13]

Introduction

This guide describes the procedure for deploying accelerated Agilio-vRouter computes.

Requirements

• One or more Compute hosts equipped with Netronome Agilio CX SmartNIC
• Agilio heat-template plugin (provided by Netronome)

Note: Please register here for access to the Agilio HT plugin

• Docker Hub account

Deployment

Step 1 - Prepare cluster for deployment

Follow Juniper's RHOSP 13 deployment guide (https://github.com/Juniper/contrail-tripleo-heat-templates/tree/stable/queens) up to the point of "deploy the stack" without kicking of a deployment.

Step 2 - Configure Agilio plugin

• Extract the Agilio plugin archive and copy the agilio-plugin folder into the tripleo-heat-templates directory
• Navigate to the agilio-plugin directory
• Edit agilio-env.yaml as per your environment

Note: Reserve at least 1375 * 2M hugepages for virtio-forwarder

• Add Docker Hub credentials to agilio_upgrade.sh
• Specify container-image TAG in agilio_upgrade.sh

Step 3 - Deploy cluster

Run deploy_rhosp.sh to kick off the deployment
