Hi,

Would it be possible to use netsniff-ng to capture traffic based on a BPF filter "such as 'icmp'" in a vxlan environment? Also, would it be possible to use netsniff-ng to strip all the vxlan encapsulation from the packets and then copy them to another interface/to disk?

Maybe its time to implement some eBPF easy proto/packets API and concat it with the one which provided by user via netsniff-ng option (in C syntax, but it should be very easy C syntax), compile it as eBPF and attach to the listening socket.
