When using EcomDev_PHPUnit there is a local.xml.phpunit - it would be nice to have a magerun switch to use that file.
So we could use
n98-magerun.phar --testdb db:console
or all the other commands to inspect the unit test environment.
I don't know if i wan't to use the EcomDev_PHPUnit module in n98-magerun. It's designed to test Magento modules.
Please note that i have a running test system on travis server.
The test runner will run all commands on a real magento test instance. So it's a livetest without any mocks. Currently i'm not missing anything. What's the big advantage to change the test system?
I think there is a misunderstanding: I do not want to use the EcomDev_Module in n98-magerun module, just a shortcut to also parse it's config file to use magerun for debugging purposes on the test database which EcomDev_PHPUnit uses during tests
ok, but i don't think it's a good idea. EcomDev runs many cleanups after a test. If we use the same DB this could cause issues.
