SSD1306Ascii Example causes Arduino to restart

Hey,
long time no see, you implemented quite a lot new features since version 2! Great :)

I just tried a SSD1306 with that SSD1306Ascii example you provided, after uploading it just shows "Hello World" and than the arduino nano restarts. No Menu to see.

oops, i cant check that, have no SSD1306.
but that display also works with U8G2 and U8x8 and i guess adafruitGfx too
U8x8 might be what you looking for.

The "ArduinoMenu_library\examples\LCDs\Malpartida\I2C\I2C" is not debugging.

libraries\ArduinoMenu_library\src/menuIO/lcdOut.h:12:21: fatal error: LCD.h: No such file or directory

 #include <LCD.h>

I find it a bit hard to work myself into the lib again, it got more complexe.

There is a line missing in the PCF8574 example

lcd.setBacklight(255);

for malpartida's LCD you have to install the libs, url is on top of example i think
about the missing line, a PR would be very welcome

not all good, hex is not working, dunno why
also pad menus broken.. checking last updates

my flault was that I used A3 as Button pin for the rotary encoder and somehow that was leading to ("suspending menu!").

As you said the SELECT and EDIT fields doesn't work.
