yeah, I think I did this when I implemented EM algorithm right? We were in that discussion about the "moving average" gaussian, then I implemented EM and then we changed problem to shape clustering.

not sure what gamma is. The covariance matrix or its inverse?? I just remember that this is related to that problem, but I guess we are not working on it anymore right? I wrote a whole thing about MLE and implemented EM algorithm, let me know if I need to do something else about this.
