  • A new option exists in the Server settings to set the default background color for the Administrator
  • When users login for the first time, should use the default color
  • A new option exists in the Administrator user preferences to override the server-default color
** Only applies to that specific user on that specific server

When two mirth boxes are open let say DEV and PROD and you are on the same screen/channel, the only way to identify these are 2 different boxes, is through the name in the window pane. Any one can slip.

This might lead to major accidents by users.

I think it will be a good to have feature, if we can select color theme of the box, for example Green for a DEV box, Yellow may be for a TEST box, Red for a PROD box, and then just pure Basic theme which is what we have right now.

So, If any user is switching windows while migration or between multiple boxes, he should be able to identify like RED its a Production box.

I agree. I have multiple Mirth servers and only the IP in the top left of window indicates which server I am accessing. A simple color theme selection would greatly help

This would be really helpful. It would be great to have a CSS or config file/settings pane that we could edit to define our own color schemes for test and prod systems.

For now we'll allow the background color to be changed (overall server default and per-user setting). In the future this can be expanded to a more "theme-like" feature.
