HTTP/2 Draft 14 #63
Comments
Now nghttp2 is updated to h2-14 + HPACK-09. |
@tatsuhiro-t - That was fast...good work! Any plans/milestones for the next release which includes this functionality? |
It still need some testing, so release would be after several weeks. |
@tatsuhiro-t, I currently have nghttp2/0.6.0-DEV and whenever I try to make a request to a virtual machine: nghttp -nvu 'https://10.0.0.10:8080/index.html' I get the following answer from the nghttpd server running on the virtual machine: SSL/TLS handshake completed Is it possible that the client supports only 'h2c-14' and the server expects 'h2-14'? Is there a way to get around this? |
1 nghttpd instance only supports either http or https. If private key and certificate are given, nghttpd only supports https. Otherwise, http. So try not specifying these files. |
One more thing, nghttpd does not support HTTP Upgrade, so -u option does not work. |
Thank you for the quick answer. What I would actually like to do and I cannot succeed(I even tried with the nghttpx proxy server) is to make a direct HTTP/2.0 connection between the client and the server and measure the page load time. Is there any special option I need to specify? |
Sorry if I was not clear enough, I meant a direct HTTP/2.0 connection with SSL. |
Then use https URI.
