I'm getting this error when running make. ./autogen.sh and ./configure appear to run sucessfully but make failes. Using Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

That problem exists in 20 as well. You are about the 8th person who has asked about this issue, yet every time I say the fix is to ask the ubuntu team to update readline appropriately, everyone just wanders away. Please go and comment in launchpad so that the bug gets some traction, otherwise it will never be fixed.

That problem exists in 20 as well. Please go and comment in launchpad so that the bug gets some traction, otherwise it will never be fixed.

I commented on that Ubuntu issue and said it effects me.
