Would it be nice, in case someone is using a translated language, at start-up they'd get a pop-up, with a checkbox to disable it, explaining how they can help to improve the translation?

Work in progress:

  1. point them to translations.md
  2. In translations.md explain how weblate works.

I'd be fine with a menu item in the "Help" menu, but popups are not a good idea in my opinion. It reminds me of adware and websites with useless email subscription popups when I'm trying to read the content/do something.

That's also an idea. I'll see what I can do and work on a PR.

I don't understand how I should add an item to the help menu, but I can imagine a text like:

If you find an odd or missing translation feel free to edit it at: https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/nicotine-plus/nicotine-plus/
