Tangerine UI v2.3 fixes some layout issues introduced with Mastodon 4.3.2, among other small things:
🔨 Fixed
- Fixed #131: Preview card with image and long content has broken padding in Advanced View
- Fixed #130 and #135: On small screens, the column header could overlap with the content.
- Fixed #132: ALT text popovers don't follow the dark or light theme.
- Fixed: Inconsistent background masking above header on larger screens.

- There is now an installation script, which can be used to install Tangerine UI on your Mastodon instance for the first time, and to automate the process of updating Tangerine UI.

- Added back the unread "glow" at the top of a column when there are new posts available (#119)
- Harmonized spacing between action icons (Reply, Boost, Favorite, Bookmark, etc.)
- Added a subtle outline around post headers in the timeline for legibility

- The theme now features the great Phosphor icon family.
- Custom icons for popular hashtags: popular hashtags on Mastodon are now displayed with custom icons in the Explore tab, in search results, as well as on profile pages in the featured hashtag section.
- This is working off a small dictionary of popular hashtag keywords.
- Custom icons are not intended to cover all hashtags. This is only meant to apply to a selection of the most popular and regularly trending hashtags on Mastodon.
- Hashtags that don't have a custom icon fall back to a regular tag icon.

- Underlined links: links are now underlined inside posts and bios.
- Standalone images in posts are now limited in height. This is to prevent that thing where tall 9:16 screenshots would fill your entire screen. This does not apply to when you open a post in its detailed view.

- Link cards now switch to a more compact style when on mobile, and when using the MultiColumn layout.
